Context Media Syndicate is dedicated to advancing democracy in Israel by providing news, analysis, and creative content that promotes and fortifies democratic values.
This initiative is supported by a coalition of journalists, democratic advocates, academics, intellectuals, from Israel, the middle east and concerned individuals worldwide.
A need for
Balanced Information
Our mission arises from a striking imbalance in global media’s portrayal of Israel. Much of the current narrative is shaped by official Israeli sources and representatives of the Jewish diaspora—both often aligned with right-wing ideologies. Consequently, Israel is frequently presented internationally as a nation which all its citizens support right-wing, ultranationalist, and religiously extremist policies.
Conversely, radical left narratives, domestically and abroad, portray Israel as a nation where all its citizens either advocate for the forced displacement of Palestinians or, at worst, condone war crimes and acts of genocide as justified in the conflict initiated by Hamas.
A Call for Peace and Reason
Millions of Israelis reject these polarizing extremes. They are deeply concerned about escalating conflicts, the erosion of judicial independence, and the rise of authoritarian policies. Equally troubling are the expansion of settlements in occupied territories, the rise of fascism, and efforts by the Netanyahu administration to control the media.
Our Vision
Our goal is to present the world with a more balanced perspective—one that reflects the aspirations of millions: an Israel that is once again enlightened, liberal, democratic, and committed to achieving peace and a two-state solution with the Palestinians.
